This is a newly created leadership role—ideal for a seasoned technology leader with strong product acumen, especially in scaling and optimizing existing platforms rather than building from scratch. You will lead the product roadmap, technology modernization, and cross-functional execution during a crucial growth phase. Requirements 10–15+ years in product/technology roles, with leadership experience in SaaS, fintech, rewards, loyalty, or e-commerce domains. Strong technical foundation with an understanding of mobile, web, and API-led architecture. Hands-on experience with platform enhancements, product lifecycle management, and tech maintenance ( not a 0–1 builder). Familiar with agile methodologies, design thinking, cloud architecture, and data privacy. Excellent communicator and cross-functional collaborator who thrives in a matrixed environment. Key Responsibilities & Challenges Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of 5–10 engineers, driving high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Own hiring, performance reviews, and career development. Hands-On Technical Direction: Provide architectural guidance and hands-on support to solve complex engineering problems, especially around integrations, scalability, and system optimization. End-to-End Delivery: Lead full software development lifecycle—from planning to deployment—for platform services aligned with business goals. Proven experience in leading agile development teams and delivering enterprise-grade systems. Strong foundation in DevOps, CI/CD pipelines , and test automation. Exposure to AI-driven development tools or implementing AI-based customer solutions is a plus. Hands-on experience in both product engineering and system integration environments. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Comfortable working across functions, time zones, and organizational layers. Familiarity with tools like Azure DevOps, Jira Service Desk, and Confluence . Experience in Payments, Loyalty, or Employee Engagement industries is advantageous.
