Mobile QA Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mobile QA Engineer with hands-on experience in automation testing of mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of exploratory testing , Appium , and Espresso , and will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our mobile apps across Android and iOS platforms. Key Responsibilities: Perform manual testing of mobile applications on Android and iOS platforms. Conduct exploratory testing to uncover hidden bugs and usability issues. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Appium (for cross-platform) and Espresso (for Android). Collaborate with developers, product managers, and designers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage. Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data . Execute regression, smoke, and sanity tests during release cycles. Identify, document, and track bugs using tools like JIRA Participate in code reviews and contribute to CI/CD pipelines for automated testing. Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in mobile application testing . Strong knowledge of manual testing techniques and exploratory testing . Proficiency in Appium for cross-platform mobile automation. Experience on Espresso . Familiarity with test frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or similar. Understanding of mobile app development lifecycle and Agile methodologies . Experience with version control systems like Git. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred : Experience with iOS automation tools like XCUITest. Knowledge of performance testing and mobile device cloud platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs). Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.
