Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Mobile App Automation Engineer with strong expertise in mobile test automation for Android and iOS applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Appium, Python, Pytest, Robot Framework, and CI/CD pipeline integration.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for Android and iOS mobile applications using Appium.
• Build and maintain automation frameworks using Python, Pytest, and Robot Framework.
• Understand mobile application architecture and identify suitable automation strategies.
• Proven experience in Android and iOS native mobile application automation
• Experience with hardware-connected, BLE-enabled, or embedded-integrated mobile applications is a strong plus.
• Integrate automated test suites into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage source code using Git/Bitbucket and follow version control best practices.
• Generate, analyze, and maintain Pytest reports and custom test dashboards.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and report automation failures and application defects.
• Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to improve test coverage and release quality.

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Strong experience in Appium mobile automation for Android and iOS
• Solid proficiency in Python for test scripting and framework development
• Strong hands-on experience with Pytest (fixtures, parametrization, markers, reporting)
• Expertise in mobile UI locator strategy and optimization
• Strong understanding of mobile app architecture and OS behavior
• Experience in building modular, reusable, and maintainable automation frameworks
• Mobile Automation: Appium
• Test Frameworks: Pytest (Robot Framework nice to have)
• Appium mobile automation for Android and iOS.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python.
• Pytest test framework.
• Robot Framework.
• Understanding of mobile application architecture.
• Pytest reports and custom dashboard creation or maintenance.
• Programming Language: Python
• CI/CD: Azure DevOps Pipelines (Jenkins exposure is a plus)
• Version Control: Git / Bitbucket
• Test Management: Jira, Confluence
• Reporting: Pytest reports / custom dashboards

Good to have skills:

• Knowledge of Robot Framework mobile automation
• Experience testing BLE, embedded, or hardware-connected mobile applications
• REST API automation experience
• Prior exposure to cloud device farms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs optional)
