Role Overview We are looking for a hands-on Tech Lead who can manage and actively contribute to both mobile (Android/iOS) and web platform development. You will be responsible for designing scalable architecture, leading a small dev team, ensuring compliance with medical data regulations, and actively contributing to coding, deployments, and system monitoring. What Youll Do Lead architecture and development for both Android apps (Jetpack Compose/Kotlin) and Web platforms (ReactJS/NextJS, Django/FastAPI). Collaborate closely with Product, QA, and Regulatory teams to translate clinical workflows into secure digital products. Drive feature planning, sprint execution, and code reviews for full-stack releases. Implement and enforce security protocols for PHI (Protected Health Information) and ensure regulatory compliance (HIPAA/GDPR/CDSCO). Own CI/CD, release cycles, and system monitoring (Firebase, Sentry, New Relic, Prometheus/Grafana). Manage third-party integrations: IoT devices, Firebase, AWS, MediaPipe, etc. Build and lead a high-performing, agile dev team. Work hands-on with cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred), containerization (Docker), and databases (PostgreSQL/SQLite/Room). What Were Looking For 5+ years of experience in software product management and development (preferably in product companies). Strong coding skills in Kotlin (Android) , Python (Django/FastAPI) , ReactJS , and relevant frameworks. Demonstrated experience working on end-to-end products from scratch (design to deployment). Proven track record in secure data handling and regulatory compliant systems . Experience with app size optimization , offline sync, crash/ANR handling, and release management. Hands-on experience with DevOps , automated testing , and monitoring frameworks . Leadership capability to mentor junior devs , manage timelines, and communicate across departments. Why Join Mobilab?
