Job Summary
Owns the model lifecycle strategy underpinning the agent ecosystem: model selection, fine-tuning, evaluation, deployment automation, and cost/performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Own model selection and fine-tuning strategy across the agent portfolio, balancing quality, cost, and latency.
- Design and maintain robust MLOps pipelines for training, evaluation, versioning, and rollback of models.
- Establish production monitoring for model drift, degradation, and safety metrics.
- Partner with Agentic Engineers and Prompt Engineers to diagnose whether issues are model-level or prompt/orchestration-level.
- Lead capacity planning and cost-optimization initiatives for model inference at scale.
- Mentor Associate-level engineers and set MLOps best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 4-7 years of experience in ML engineering/MLOps,.
- Strong expertise in model training frameworks, distributed training/inference, and evaluation methodology.
- Experience with production ML infrastructure (Kubernetes, model-serving frameworks, feature/vector stores).
- Track record of optimizing model cost/latency/quality trade-offs at scale.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with parameter-efficient fine-tuning and reinforcement-learning-based alignment techniques.
- Including production fine-tuning and deployment of LLMs
- Experience in a regulated industry with model-risk-management requirements.
