We are seeking a dedicated, full-time Pastry Chef de Partie to become a valuable member of our team at our Ernakulam outlet. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pastry and dessert preparation, demonstrate the ability to uphold high-quality standards in a fast-paced environment, and have prior experience in baking. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and craft a diverse selection of pastries, tarts, cakes, cookies, and other baked goods. - Ensure that all products adhere to Milanos" quality and presentation guidelines. - Supervise day-to-day operations of the pastry kitchen, including inventory control and stock rotation. - Uphold a clean, organized, and hygienic workspace in adherence to food safety regulations. - Collaborate with the gelato and caf teams to devise innovative dessert pairings. Requirements: - Proven experience as a Pastry Chef de Partie or in a similar pastry-centric role. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in French & Western desserts and bakery is essential. - Proficient in pastry techniques, baking methods, and dessert presentation. - Strong grasp of ingredient handling, recipe execution, and kitchen hygiene standards. - Demonstrates creativity and a deep passion for desserts, with meticulous attention to detail. - Capable of working effectively under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced setting. - Possesses good communication skills and exhibits leadership qualities. - Willingness to work flexible shifts, which may include weekends and holidays. - Culinary certification in pastry arts or a related field is preferred.
