Key Responsibilities: Supervision of Staff: Lead, motivate, and supervise a team of servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff. Conduct training for new hires and ongoing development for current team members. Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback to ensure exceptional service standards. Ensure proper staffing levels to meet the needs of the venue, adjusting as necessary during busy times. Customer Service & Guest Experience: Provide a high standard of customer service by ensuring that food and beverage orders are taken, prepared, and served in a timely and professional manner. Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly, with a focus on resolution and customer satisfaction. Assist in the implementation of promotional events, special menus, and catering services. Operational Management: Ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the food and beverage department, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and maintenance of cleanliness and organization. Oversee the preparation and presentation of food and beverages to meet company quality standards. Assist in the management of food and beverage stock, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining inventory records. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Financial Oversight: Assist in the management of the department’s budget, including cost control, waste management, and pricing strategies. Monitor daily sales and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed. Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Manager to optimize profitability while maintaining quality standards. Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with other departments, such as the kitchen and management teams, to ensure efficient operations. Maintain clear communication with both front-of-house and back-of-house staff. Report operational issues or concerns to management and suggest improvements as needed. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or Business-related degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a food and beverage supervisory or managerial role, ideally within a restaurant, hotel, or similar environment. Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including service standards, inventory management, and health & safety regulations. Previous experience in staff management, training, and development. Skills & Attributes: Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities. Outstanding customer service and problem-solving skills. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of POS systems and basic financial principles.
