Middleware Developer

As a Middleware Developer for Linux-based IVI Development, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating middleware components for our In-Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) system. This role requires you to work on communication services, multimedia frameworks, and other platform services that bridge the Board Support Package (BSP) and Human-Machine Interface (HMI) layers. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and maintain middleware components such as multimedia frameworks (GStreamer, PulseAudio), communication services (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS), and vehicle data interfaces. - Collaborate with BSP teams to ensure seamless integration with hardware and low-level software. - Work with HMI developers to efficiently expose middleware services for UI consumption. - Implement inter-process communication (IPC) mechanisms, service discovery protocols, and optimize middleware performance on embedded Linux platforms. - Debug and troubleshoot middleware issues. - Participate in architectural discussions, code reviews, and documentation. - Ensure compliance with automotive standards and security best practices. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - At least 3 years of experience in middleware development for embedded Linux systems. - Strong knowledge of multimedia frameworks, networking protocols, C/C++, scripting languages, Linux IPC mechanisms, embedded Linux architecture, and cross-layer integration. - Problem-solving skills, collaborative abilities, and familiarity with automotive IVI or embedded systems development.
