Mid Back End Engineer

As an experienced SFRA Backend Developer, your main responsibility will involve developing and maintaining backend solutions using Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) and Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA). Your expertise in API-driven development using SCAPI and OCAPI will be crucial in creating integrations and ensuring high-performance eCommerce applications. Here is a summary of your role overview, key responsibilities, and qualifications: Role Overview: You will be tasked with developing backend features and enhancements within the SFRA framework, implementing business logic and integrations with SCAPI and OCAPI, and optimizing backend code for performance, scalability, and security. Collaborating with various teams, you will participate in code reviews, solution design discussions, and documentation to deliver end-to-end solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Develop backend features using SFRA framework (controllers, middleware, services, jobs). - Implement business logic and integrations with SCAPI and OCAPI. - Work on site configuration, catalogs, promotions, and pricing with Business Manager. - Optimize backend code for performance, scalability, and security. - Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues in production and staging environments. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions. - Participate in code reviews, solution design discussions, and documentation. Qualifications: - 3+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC/Demandware). - Strong expertise in SFRA backend development. - Proven experience with SCAPI and OCAPI. - Proficiency in JavaScript (server-side), Node.js, ISML, and JSON. - Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs and third-party integrations. - Proficient with Git/Bitbucket. - Strong problem-solving, debugging, and optimization skills. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field. - Master's degree is a plus. - Salesforce certifications preferred (SFCC Developer).
