Job Description:

We are seeking a Manufacturing Chemist to join our production team in Pondicherry. The ideal candidate will assist in pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in daily manufacturing operations as per GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
• Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment
• Maintain accurate Batch Manufacturing Records (BMR) and related documents
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) during production processes
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams for in-process checks and quality control
• Ensure cleanliness and safety in the production area
• Support the troubleshooting of minor process issues
• Handle raw materials and follow correct weighing and mixing procedures

Candidate Requirements:

• B.Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry or B.Pharm / M.Pharm
• 0–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical or chemical manufacturing
• Basic understanding of GMP, SOPs, and safety protocols
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Willingness to work in shifts (if required)
• Strong attention to detail
