As a Java Cloud Developer, you will bring your expertise in Java development, particularly in Spring and Quarkus frameworks. Your responsibilities will include designing and developing microservices and APIs while adhering to best practices for RESTful and message-driven communication. You should have a strong understanding of database systems like PostgreSQL, cloud databases such as Aurora, and caching mechanisms like Redis. Your role will also involve ensuring the quality of the software you develop by utilizing tools like Sonar, JUnit, RestAssured, and optionally Cucumber and Selenium for quality assurance. You should have practical experience with message brokers like ActiveMQ and SNS&SQS, as well as containerization and orchestration using technologies like Kubernetes and OpenShift. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure will be beneficial, along with familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar tools. Knowledge of monitoring and tracing tools like Grafana, Dynatrace, ELK stack, and Prometheus will also be valuable in this role. Any certifications in Java, Quarkus, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms would be considered a plus. In this position, your essential duties will include implementing system software, customizing it to meet client requirements, and performing post-implementation validation to resolve any bugs found during testing. You will be responsible for providing quality assurance reviews, preparing detailed software specifications and test plans, and coding new programs as per client specifications. Additionally, you will modify existing programs to new standards, conduct unit testing, gather and analyze system requirements, document specifications, and develop software solutions to fulfill client needs and data. You will also analyze and review enhancement requests and specifications to further enhance the software systems you work on. Your strong communication and collaboration abilities will play a key role in effectively fulfilling your responsibilities as a Java Cloud Developer.,
