MEP Engineer

We are looking for an experienced MEP Engineer to oversee the planning, implementation, and coordination of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems for industrial warehouse construction projects.

The candidate will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration of all MEP systems while maintaining compliance with applicable safety regulations, technical specifications, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee the execution of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works for industrial warehouse projects.
• Review and interpret MEP drawings, technical specifications, and project requirements.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, civil engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure proper integration of MEP systems.
• Monitor site execution and ensure adherence to approved drawings, project schedules, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with relevant IS codes and technical requirements.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing technical submittals and project documentation.
• Coordinate material testing and ensure the quality of materials used in MEP installations.
• Check contractors' bills, verify work completed, and support certification of contractor payments.
• Identify site-level issues and coordinate with relevant teams for timely resolution.
• Ensure all MEP activities are completed as per project specifications and timelines.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 8 12 years of relevant experience in MEP execution and coordination within the construction industry.
• Experience working on industrial construction or warehouse building projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MEP works, relevant Indian Standard (IS) codes, material testing, and quality standards.
• Familiarity with project documentation, technical drawings, and site inspections.
• Ability to review and interpret MEP drawings and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage site activities and coordinate effectively with contractors and project stakeholders.
