Member Software Engineer (Wordpress/PHP Developer)

As an experienced WordPress Developer, your role will involve full-stack development to build, customize, and maintain visually engaging and high-performing websites for clients. This includes creating and integrating WordPress themes and plugins, ensuring seamless functionality, performance, and security across all site components. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop responsive, accessible, and cross-browser-compatible websites using WordPress. - Build custom WordPress themes and plugins tailored to specific client or business needs. - Utilize front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Reactjs, AngularJs) for interactive user interfaces. - Integrate with backend services, APIs, and databases using PHP and MySQL. - Optimize website speed, performance, and SEO readiness. - Implement site security best practices and conduct routine maintenance, backups, and upgrades. - Monitor live websites for errors, uptime, and performance issues. - Write clean, well-documented code, adhere to coding standards, and execute test cases. - Use Git for version control, deploy websites via CI/CD pipelines, and maintain clear documentation. - Stay updated with the latest WordPress, PHP, and front-end technologies. - Contribute to code reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and support less experienced developers. - Collaborate with stakeholders, designers, and product teams to translate business needs into technical solutions. **Qualifications Required:** - Solid understanding of front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery. - Expertise in WordPress including theme and plugin development, WordPress REST API, and WP-CLI. - Proficiency in PHP (core and object-oriented) with experience in building responsive user interfaces. - Skilled in developing mobile-friendly layouts and ensuring cross-browser compatibility. - Familiarity with RESTful APIs, version control systems like Git, and CI/CD pipelines. - Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills.
