Role Summary: The Staff Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients, with a focus on reproductive health and fertility. This role includes managing patient care in IVF treatments, assisting doctors, and offering compassionate support to patients and their families throughout the treatment process. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and record patient vitals, progress, and medical history, with an emphasis on IVF treatment protocols. Administer medications, injections, and other treatments as per doctor's orders, specifically for IVF and fertility treatments. Assist doctors during consultations, exams, and procedures, particularly in the IVF unit. Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding fertility treatments. Educate patients and families on IVF care plans, procedures, post-treatment care, and preventive measures. Ensure patient safety, privacy, and comfort throughout the IVF process. Qualifications and Experience: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution. Valid Nursing License (Registered Nurse in Karnataka). Minimum 2 years of experience as a Staff Nurse, with specific experience in an IVF or fertility clinic. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills. Skills Required: Compassionate, patient-centered approach with sensitivity to IVF and reproductive health needs. Strong clinical and critical-thinking abilities. Knowledge of IVF protocols, fertility treatments, and related hospital protocols. Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively.
