Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Medical Device Sales Executive to promote and sell medical equipment and healthcare products to hospitals, clinics and healthcare institutions. The candidate will be responsible for developing hospital accounts, conducting product demonstrations, coordinating with clinical and biomedical teams, and supporting sales and after-sales activities.

Candidates with experience selling medical equipment, surgical consumables, critical-care products or hospital supplies are encouraged to apply. Direct experience with infusion and syringe pumps is an advantage but is not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and sell medical equipment, surgical products and healthcare consumables to hospitals and healthcare institutions.
• Build and maintain relationships with doctors, nursing staff, hospital biomedical teams, procurement departments and key decision-makers.
• Conduct product demonstrations and explain product features, benefits and usage to hospital customers.
• Support product installation, commissioning, user training and basic troubleshooting, as applicable to the candidate's training and product knowledge.
• Coordinate with service teams, distributors and hospital personnel to resolve customer issues and ensure product availability.
• Identify new business opportunities, generate leads and achieve assigned sales targets.
• Support quotations, tender documentation, commercial negotiations and order follow-ups.
• Maintain customer records, sales reports, account plans and visit reports.
• Monitor competitor activities, customer feedback and market trends.
• Travel regularly within the assigned territory for hospital visits, demonstrations and customer support.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, Engineering or a related discipline preferred.
• Three or more years of relevant experience in medical device sales, medical equipment sales, surgical consumables or hospital product sales preferred.
• Experience dealing with hospitals, healthcare institutions, doctors or hospital purchase departments.
• Good communication, negotiation, presentation and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to conduct product demonstrations and explain product usage to customers.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Word, Excel and sales reporting.
• Fluent Hindi is mandatory for day-to-day customer engagement.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory.

Preferred Experience

• Sales of infusion pumps, syringe pumps, patient monitors, critical-care equipment, surgical equipment or hospital consumables.
• Experience with ICU, operating theatre (OT), oncology or other clinical departments.
• Exposure to hospital quotations, tenders, installations, product training or after-sales coordination.
• Biomedical Engineering qualification is an advantage but is not mandatory.
