Medical Coding Fresher (IPDRG)

As a Life Science Graduate with CPC/CCA Certification, your key responsibilities in this role will include: - Assigning appropriate ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS codes to inpatient records based on physician documentation. - Reviewing patient medical records to ensure accurate coding of diagnoses and procedures. - Assigning correct Diagnosis-Related Group (DRG) codes based on patient's diagnosis, comorbidities, and treatments. - Maintaining high attention to detail to avoid billing errors and ensure accurate coding. - Keeping updated with industry standards. Qualifications required for this position: - Life Science Graduates only. - CPC/CCA Certified/Non Certified. - Good knowledge of medical coding systems, medical terminologies, regulatory requirements, auditing concepts, and principles. - Familiarity with the Indian system of grouping diagnoses and procedures for hospital billing, including understanding the IPDRG guidelines. The company offers a salary of 20K with a half-yearly revision of Rs. 5000 based on performance. This is a full-time position that requires working from the office in Trivandrum.
