As the Senior Manager of Global Medical Digital Excellence, your role will play a significant part in this mission. **Role Purpose:** You will be tasked with spearheading and executing digital strategies within the medical organization. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive digital innovation, enhance capabilities, and ensure successful implementation of digital initiatives. Your contributions will be instrumental in shaping the organization's digital landscape and ensuring alignment with global standards and best practices. **Key Responsibilities:** - Create and manage digital solutions to enhance digital expertise within the medical team. - Lead the development and implementation of medical capabilities and tools to ensure a globally consistent approach across the Viatris medical organization. - Oversee digital projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery within set budgets and scopes. - Support the synthesis and dissemination of medical insights obtained from scientific exchanges with external customers to internal cross-functional teams. - Provide input on medical-related systems and processes such as CRM tools, opinion platforms, and KOL management databases across medical programs. - Collaborate with internal teams to seamlessly execute digital initiatives and identify opportunities for process improvements. - Integrate emerging technologies to drive digital innovation and operational efficiencies. - Track and report on digital performance metrics to optimize strategies. **Qualification and Experience:** - Strong leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across various teams. - Familiarity with medical affairs standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in the pharmaceutical industry. - Profound understanding of digital tools, platforms, and emerging technologies relevant to the medical field. - Strategic thinking to develop long-term digital plans aligning with organizational goals. - Experience in managing digital projects within deadlines and budgets. - Analytical mindset to interpret data and trends for informed digital strategies. - Proven ability to work collaboratively and drive cross-functional initiatives. - Strong problem-solving skills to adapt to challenges in a fast-paced digital landscape. - 8+ years of experience in Medical Affairs in the pharmaceutical industry. - Experience in digital transformation, healthcare technology, or medical innovation is highly desirable. - Proficiency in managing digital solutions and channel know-how. - Demonstrated strong leadership ability in cross-functional initiatives and collaboration with local and above-country teams. - Experience in identifying skills gaps to build necessary capabilities.
