Position: Australian Payroll and Bookkeeping Specialist Experience: 13 years Location: Bangalore About the Role We are looking for a Senior Bookkeeper with proven expertise in Australian bookkeeping, payroll, and ATO compliance . This role is ideal for someone who can handle end-to-end bookkeeping tasks with precision, manage payroll in line with Australian legislation, and support financial reporting for a growing international business. Experience in NDIS, healthcare, or medical bookkeeping will be highly regarded and considered a strong advantage. Key Responsibilities Handle end-to-end bookkeeping : accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations. Process accurate and compliant payroll for Australian employees, including Superannuation and PAYG. Prepare and lodge BAS, PAYG, Superannuation , and other statutory reports as per ATO requirements. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies in payroll or financial records. Stay current with Australian tax laws and Fair Work regulations to ensure compliance. Manage staff rostering and timesheet processing for seamless payroll operations. Assist with financial analysis and reporting for management and auditors. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely submission of all compliance requirements. Requirements 1–2 years of experience in Australian bookkeeping and payroll roles. Hands-on expertise with Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks , or similar accounting software. Understanding of BAS, PAYG, Superannuation, Fair Work, and Australian accounting standards . High attention to detail with strong analytical and organizational skills . Ability to work independently , manage deadlines, and communicate effectively. Certificate IV in Accounting & Bookkeeping or equivalent qualification preferred. Bonus: Experience in NDIS bookkeeping, healthcare sector bookkeeping, or medical bookkeeping .
