Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Site Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing mechanical engineering projects on-site, ensuring compliance with specifications and safety standards while collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage mechanical engineering projects on site, ensuring they align with project specifications and timelines.
Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other site personnel to ensure seamless project execution.
Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure adherence to safety and engineering standards.
Prepare and review technical documents, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
Provide technical guidance and support to the site team, addressing any mechanical issues that arise during construction.
Coordinate with procurement for timely delivery of materials and equipment necessary for project completion.
Maintain accurate records of project progress and prepare regular reports for management.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
5-10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in construction or site management roles.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and engineering principles.
Proficiency in using engineering software and tools, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in construction.
