Job Description: Mechanical ITI Fitter – CNC Manufacturing

Position: ITI Fitter (Mechanical)

Location: Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh

Experience: Fresher – 3 years

Role Overview

The Mechanical ITI Fitter will be responsible for assembly, installation, and maintenance of CNC machines and mechanical components. The role requires hands‑on skills in fitting, alignment, and troubleshooting, along with knowledge of workshop practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform fitting, assembly, and alignment of CNC machine parts and mechanical components
• Assist in installation and maintenance of CNC machines (lathe, milling, VMC, etc.)
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical diagrams
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance of machines
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
• Identify mechanical faults and support troubleshooting activities
• Maintain records of maintenance and repair work
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
• Support senior engineers and technicians during machine commissioning

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of mechanical tools and equipment
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
• Familiarity with CNC machine components and workshop practices
• Basic welding, drilling, grinding, and fabrication skills
• Problem‑solving and troubleshooting ability
• Attention to detail and precision
• Ability to work independently or in a team

Qualification

• ITI Fitter (Mechanical) from a recognized institute
• Apprenticeship or prior CNC exposure preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
