Mechanical Engineer (QA/QC)

You will be a Mechanical Engineer specialized in Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) with NDT Level-II Certification focusing on Welding Inspection, VT, DPT, UT, and RT methods. Holding a B.Tech/BE degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5-10 years of experience, you will ideally have a background working with organizations such as NPCIL, PGCIL, NTPC, etc. Your responsibilities will include overseeing mechanical activities, particularly related to NDT and welding, and conducting various tasks such as evaluating welder qualifications, preparing WPS, and performing NDT tests like Welding Inspection, VT, DPT, UT, and RT. Furthermore, you will be tasked with verifying and certifying welding processes, ensuring compliance with NPCIL standards, and maintaining records as per NPCIL requirements. Your role will also involve implementing Quality Management Systems based on ISO 9001:2015 standards. Excellent communication skills will be essential for effective coordination and reporting within the team.
