Mechanical Engineer - Oil & Gas

You should have a good knowledge of the Oil & Gas domain. Your responsibilities will include developing and/or modifying designs related to Oil & Gas components by analyzing product specifications, performance requirements, and existing manufacturing capabilities. It will be your duty to ensure that all components of an assembly will assemble and function properly. You will also be required to conduct Design for Manufacturing Reviews and review drawings for manufacturing feasibility. Other duties will involve creating parametric 3D Models, Assembly and 2D drawings as per Customer and ASME standards using SolidWorks. You should have knowledge of GD&T and Tolerance stack-up analysis. Your role will include the implementation of Electronic change requests (ECR) which involve modifications of Drawings, BOM, and procedures accordingly. It is essential to have knowledge in processing Request for Technical Assistance (RTA). You will be responsible for updating documentation through Revision control, Product Attribute control, and Change Descriptions. It is crucial to adhere to process checkpoints to ensure design/customer standards are followed. The ideal candidate should have a BE/BTech degree in Mechanical or a relevant field.,
