Mechanical Design Engineers (Power Control Design) - MECH Semiconductor Domain

As a Mechanical Design Engineer in the Semiconductor domain at HCLTech, your primary responsibility will be to identify and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues. You will be required to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address mechanical challenges within specific projects. Additionally, you will play a key role in designing and analyzing mechanical systems, equipment, and packaging. Your expertise will be crucial in implementing innovative solutions for a variety of product-related mechanical issues. Furthermore, you will be instrumental in establishing operational standards across processes. To excel in this role, you must possess a B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 5-10 years of relevant industry experience, preferably in the Semiconductor sector. Proficiency in industrial control panel design as per UL508A standards, sheet metal design, and GD&T is essential. Experience in working with power control designs and applications, along with a solid understanding of relevant standards such as NFPA70, NFPA79, Semi S2, S8, F47, and UL508A, is required. Knowledge of DFx, FEA, and cable routing in UG - PD BOX is advantageous. Familiarity with tools like UG and Teamcenter will be beneficial in executing your responsibilities effectively.
