Mechanical Design Engineer

As a mechanical design engineer at our company, your role will involve designing and developing mechanical components and systems using software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Autodesk Inventor. You will be responsible for creating detailed 2D and 3D models, engineering drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM). Additionally, you will perform Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) to ensure precise design specifications. Structural and thermal analysis using ANSYS will also be a part of your responsibilities to ensure design integrity. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop mechanical components and systems using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Autodesk Inventor. - Create detailed 2D and 3D models, engineering drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM). - Perform Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) for precise design specifications. - Conduct structural and thermal analysis using ANSYS. - Optimize material usage through Nesting techniques. - Perform Wind Load Calculations for structural stability assessment. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams for project execution and design improvements. - Ensure compliance with industry standards and company guidelines. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Autodesk Inventor. - Expertise in Bill of Materials (BOM) and Nesting. - Strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T). - Experience with structural analysis using ANSYS. - Ability to perform Wind Load Calculations. - Good problem-solving and analytical skills. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
