As a Mechanical Design Engineer specializing in Interior and Exterior Trims, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for vehicles. Utilizing 3D modeling and simulation techniques, you will contribute to the creation of parts for casting, forging, and plastic materials. Your key responsibilities will include defining detailed designs for both interior and exterior components, managing simulations to assess structural strength, kinematics, and plastic part filling. You will be expected to explore innovative solutions for individual parts and assemblies, while also reusing existing designs effectively to achieve the desired detailed design. Working within specified budget and timelines, you will collaborate with senior engineers and provide regular project status updates to the company. Additionally, you will conduct tests and experiments to enhance the performance of components, and maintain comprehensive product specifications, drawings, and documentation. Moreover, you will play a crucial role in incorporating customer feedback and industry trends into new product designs.
