Measurement and Installation Technician

Measurement Duties:

• Visit customer sites to take precise measurements for curtains, blinds, and other furnishing products.
• Understand customer requirements and provide technical advice on product suitability and installation feasibility.
• Record and document all necessary details required for production and fitting.
• Communicate clearly with the sales/design team regarding measurements, constraints, and special considerations.

Fitting & Installation Duties:

• Install curtains, blinds, rods, tracks, and other fittings accurately and securely.
• Ensure fittings are aligned with design expectations and safety standards.
• Carry appropriate tools and materials to complete installations efficiently.
• Troubleshoot any on-site issues related to fitting and resolve customer concerns professionally.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is a plus.
• Prior experience in curtain/blinds fitting or similar roles (2+ years preferred).
• Strong understanding of measuring techniques and installation tools.
• Familiarity with different types of window coverings and mounting techniques.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving attitude with attention to detail.
• Ability to lift moderately heavy materials and work at heights (e.g., ladders).

Working Conditions:

• Field-based role with travel to customer homes and project sites.
• May require flexible working hours based on customer availability and project timelines.
• Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to customer sites.
