Maths Teacher

Job Summary:

Karv School is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Mathematics Teacher to teach students from Grades 8 to 10. The ideal candidate should have a strong command of the subject, experience with board exam preparation, and the ability to engage students through concept-driven, real-life-oriented teaching strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality Math lessons for Grades 8, 9, and 10 as per curriculum (CBSE/State Board/ICSE specify if needed).

Develop and follow structured lesson plans, practice worksheets, and project-based activities.

Prepare students for internal assessments, board exams, and competitive math tests.

Assess student performance regularly and provide feedback and academic support.

Foster analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills in students.

Use digital tools, visual aids, and interactive methods to simplify complex concepts.

Track student progress and maintain academic records.

Provide additional academic support to students through remedial or enrichment sessions.

Collaborate with fellow teachers, attend staff meetings, and participate in school events or workshops.

Create a disciplined and inclusive classroom environment focused on respect and motivation.

Skills & Competencies:

Excellent knowledge of Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Statistics, and Coordinate Geometry.

Strong communication and classroom management skills.

Familiarity with the latest pedagogical practices and technology tools.

Ability to connect with students and adapt to different learning styles.

Time management, planning, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

B.Ed. is mandatory

Exposure to board syllabus patterns and exam methodology

Experience with integrating ICT in teaching

Prior experience teaching Grades 810 in a recognized institution

Working Days & Hours:

As per Karv School norms (typically Monday to Saturday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
