Material/inventory management Planning, implementing, and executing supply chain strategies; excellence in planning & scheduling statutory requirements, implementation & compliance of Warehouse, Materials Management Leading purchasing initiatives & executing best practices in warehouse / materials management that create cost savings Ensuring scientific material management of stores to maintain optimum level of inventory. Monitoring & controlling crashing of activities on regular basis to complete entire job as per schedule. Follow up with the schedule of various consultants (Site Managers) for purchase of raw stock and required material. Responsible for the inspection and identification of delivered material and check all documents Collaborate with Zonal Manager/Engineers to determine and raise requisite PRs for supply needs Timely utilization of shelf life material to avoid any loss due to expiry of products Tracking & maintaining the inventory levels in the stores for all items required (Civil, MEP Spares & Consumables) thereby ensuring optimum use of inventory Supervising & controlling the warehousing processes & providing valuable suggestions for efficiency enhancement, optimum utilization of available resources through JIT (Just in Time) approach Ensuring that indents are raised as per time schedule prepared by planning department and the execution team. Spearheading the computerized (SAP MM) control of incoming / outgoing materials Detect stagnant inventory and plan its quick utilization Regulate purchase requisition by constantly monitoring material availability in virtual stores To ensure implementation & maintaining of ISO standards. Checking and preparing the necessary stock statement and time such as monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and yearly Vendor Development Developing long-term partnerships with local suppliers; acquiring techno-commercial offers from various vendors; undertaking reconciliation of vendor accounts for pending materials and payments Identifying and negotiating with vendors for procuring essential materials at reasonable price, developing vendors for better price, quality, delivery & increased volumes and identifying alternate vendors to avoid monopoly in supply Bill Processing Bills are processed and sent to accounts as per billing cycle policy Checking GR / GI / Daily Inward / Bill as per purchase order Coordinating with vendors and site in charge for any queries related to challans and bill Team management Learn new skills /methods, suggest innovative ways to increase construction speed, reduce cost, increase quality. Team building management and striving for excellence. Skills Possess good interpersonal skills and leadership qualities to get the work done as per schedule Proven interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, with the capability to work under pressure A system oriented and technology savvy professional Proficient in SAP - MM, MS Office Logical and well organized Significant practical experience relevant to the trades. Qualification & Work Experience Graduate in any field with 10+ years of experience in a similar role with a medium/large sized organization. Diploma in Material Management will be an added advantage Experience in the construction/real estate industry.
