Pet India Industries is a manufacturing company specialising in PET bottles, jars, preforms and packaging solutions for various industries. We are looking for a proactive, customer-oriented professional to support customer relationship management, business development and digital marketing activities.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing customer enquiries, maintaining relationships with prospective and existing customers, following up on business opportunities and supporting marketing initiatives. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail and the ability to coordinate effectively with customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle B2B customer enquiries through phone calls, WhatsApp and email.
• Follow up with prospective and existing customers to develop business opportunities.
• Understand customer requirements and coordinate with internal teams regarding product specifications, quotations and orders.
• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships through professional communication and timely follow-ups.
• Maintain lead databases, customer interaction records and follow-up schedules.
• Support lead generation and identify potential customers through online platforms and other marketing channels.
• Assist with digital marketing activities, including social media management, content coordination and online promotions.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely responses to customer enquiries.
• Assist with day-to-day coordination related to customer requirements, marketing and business activities.

Skills and Qualifications

• 1–5 years of experience in customer relations, business development, sales coordination, inside sales or a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Tamil.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and confidence in handling customer conversations.
• Good follow-up, coordination and relationship-building abilities.
• A proactive approach with the ability to take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
• Basic understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms.
• Comfortable learning technical product details and working in a B2B manufacturing environment.
• MBA in Marketing, Business Administration or a related specialisation preferred. Candidates with relevant experience and strong communication skills will also be considered.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone who can communicate confidently with customers, understand their requirements, maintain consistent follow-ups and contribute to business growth. The ability to learn quickly, work independently and coordinate effectively is essential.

Preferred: Candidates currently based in Chennai who can join immediately or at short notice.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
