MARINE SURVEYOR - PLAN APPROVAL (HULL/STABILITY) - INDIA

As a Marine Hull/Structure Document Reviewer, your primary responsibility will be to carefully evaluate marine hull/structure documents in accordance with applicable rules, regulations, and delegations. You will also be tasked with reviewing marine stability documents, conducting free board & tonnage calculations while ensuring compliance with relevant rules and regulations. A crucial aspect of your role will involve effective communication and collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that all contract requirements are fulfilled. Additionally, you will be expected to provide technical advice to clients, actively participate in meetings, and support various project requirements as needed. To excel in this position, you must attend all scheduled training sessions, both locally and overseas, with the goal of achieving specified delegations outlined in the Performance Management Process. It is essential to stay updated on new rules, regulations, and technical information through internal communication channels. Furthermore, you must consistently submit time & expense sheets in a timely and accurate manner. The ideal candidate for this role should hold a degree in Naval Architecture and Marine/Ocean Engineering. Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, is essential. A solid understanding of relevant Statutory Regulations and experience in Structural & Stability assessment against IACS class society's rules is required. A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, including site experience in shipyards or design companies, and/or design review experience within the maritime industry is preferred. Being a team player with a strong sense of responsibility will be key to your success in this role.,
