Job Description

Key Responsibilities : 1. To provide load plan, reduce cycle time and set up time. 2. Technical support to manufacturing and service. 3. Co-ordination with departmental activities to meet business requirements on time. Indicative Tasks Competencies (all competencies required to carry out this key responsibility and indicative tasks) 4. Cell Responsibilities Allocate load for manufacturing Engineer Personnel - Cutting tool knowledge - CNC programming knowledge - Well versant with operations department functions. Try outs of new parts Project expansion for new products Machinery selection Reduction of expandable tools Up-gradation of facility in technology with collaborators guidance Training operators & engineers in existing facility Identify production tools for CNC machines Setup time reduction Cycle time reduction. 5. Technical Support Programming of parts, tooling development and etc. - Process knowledge - Interpersonal skill Programming of parts as per the load sheet. Tooling development for new component First pass of programming Reduce the cycle time by better method of programming. Cost reduction of cutting tools Bring in new material cutting practices.
