Job Description

Key Responsibilities : 1. Inspection and approval of finished products. 2. To aim for 100% defect free steel castings produced and despatched. 3. Documentation and customer handling. 4.Getting the plan from Fetling team and instructing the line inspectors (associates) on the day to -day activities. 5. Carrying out all visual and measurement tests (Datum Locator, Template checking, Fixture qualification and wall thickness) of finished products. 6. Ensure 100% inspection of all castings (in house & Sub contract). 7. Analysing tha cause for non-conformance and reporting to Inspection Incharge. 8. To obtain Inspection Incharge suggestion on rework, rejection of castings and implement accordingly. 9. Re-inspect reworked and repaired non-conformance parts to comply with the disposition to achieve required OTD. 10. Train fetlers on the usage of templates and impart knowledge on datum locators. 11. Carrying out Dock Audit inspection. 12. Ensure CONC is within the specified limit & Ensure adherence to all the safety standards.
