Manual Tester

Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and develop comprehensive test plans. Execute manual test cases and report bugs clearly and accurately. Participate in functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing. Maintain documentation for test procedures, results, and process improvements. Communicate testing progress, results, and risks to team members. Assist in creating automated tests (optional depending on skillset). Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. 1+ years of hands-on experience in software testing (manual). Basic understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies. Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, etc. Ability to write and execute test cases and scenarios. Good communication and teamwork skills. Analytical thinking and attention to detail. Preferred (Nice to Have): Exposure to automation testing tools like Selenium, Postman, etc. Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
