Responsibilities

Manual

• Understand and review of requirements, specifications and technical design documents to come up with comprehensive well-structured test scenarios.
• Review test cases and improvise them for enhanced test coverage.
• Perform different tests like functional, regression, installation, integration, database, migration, upgrade, and compatibility.
• Identify, record and track bugs to closure.
• Investigate external customer defects and work towards improvement of product quality.
• Responsible for complete ownership and accountability for deliverables.
• Responsible for debugging and troubleshooting issues/environment and bring it to closure.
• Responsible for self-planning, team planning, follow-ups, issue resolution, providing technical assistance, onsite support.
• Review teams work and take corrective actions, guide and mentor them.
• Collaborate with cross product teams and understand cross product integration to develop test scenarios and testing scope.
• Collaborate with product/program management, development/QA peers to ensure complete test coverage.
• Track quality assurance metrics and open defect counts.
• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs through effective estimation, prioritize and proper planning and coordinate testing activities.
• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
• Responsible for escalation, team building, and people management.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 0.6 to 1 years of experience 

• Good in Manual Testing 
• Should be strong in SQL scripting and Database testing.
• Experience in test scenarios/cases preparation, reporting defects in tool.
• Exhibit a strong passion towards software automation testing and has the zeal to learn new skills.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to work with corporate stakeholders as well and technical experts.
• Manual testing experience of different testing types like Functional, Database, Installation, Integration, migration, upgrade, and compatibility is a must.
