Manager, Projects, Group Development Management

The role: You will be working closely with Asset Managers to oversee all aspects of development works, including managing new developments and existing assets in various sector classes such as commercial, retail, residential, industrial, and logistics projects. Job responsibilities: You will conceptualize development design requirements and create design briefs aligned with the Company's development strategy. Additionally, you will manage the development of design concepts and options, oversee design consultants, and communicate with relevant authorities for project approvals. You will be responsible for managing tender and award processes, as well as construction and contract administration. Your role will involve overseeing the development process from inception to completion, engaging service providers following procurement procedures, ensuring projects are completed within budget, on schedule, meeting quality expectations, and complying with regulatory requirements and corporate governance. Regular and accurate reporting of project issues and status will also be part of your responsibilities. Job requirements: You should have a degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Project Management, or a related field. A minimum of 7 years of relevant development or project management experience is required, specifically in executing commercial, retail, residential, industrial, and/or logistics projects. You should have the ability to facilitate the creation of solutions that meet the needs of business units, shareholders, and the environment. Seeking continuous improvement in design and processes, challenging the status quo, and applying value engineering are essential. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of independence, initiative, accountability, cultural sensitivity, endurance, and adaptability.
