Manager of Software Engineering - Java Backend

Your role involves managing day-to-day implementation activities, providing guidance to software engineers, and ensuring compliance with standards and best practices. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide guidance to your immediate team of software engineers on their daily tasks and activities. - Set the overall guidance and expectations for team output, practices, and collaboration. - Anticipate dependencies with other teams to ensure timely delivery of products and applications. - Manage stakeholder relationships and ensure work compliance with standards, service level agreements, and business requirements. - Foster a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect among team members. **Qualifications Required:** - Engineering graduate with 10+ years of experience. - Proficiency in Java language. - Hands-on experience in Microservices, RESTful web services development in Java (SpringBoot or equivalent framework). - Good knowledge of messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ. - In-depth understanding of Cloud Native Architecture, Microservice Architecture, and related stacks. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including negotiation, facilitation, and consensus building. - Ability to influence and persuade without direct control. - Experience in mentoring/coaching senior staff engineers and other engineers. - Focus on reusability, frameworks, patterns, and configuration tools for faster development.,
