Manager, Maintenance

As a Maintenance Department Manager at Euroflex Transmissions (India) Pvt. Ltd., your role will involve maintaining daily B/D register, generating Breakdown reports, conducting gap analysis and formulating action plans for correction of repetitive failures. Your key responsibilities will include: - Implementing kaizen to reduce MTBF & MTTR - Proactively planning spares required for replacement during PM - Creating checklists for PM and maintaining reports post PM - Utilizing iPDCA and why-why analysis for systematic problem solving - Managing critical spare part list and stock of c class items - Improving 6s conditions of Maintenance stores and areas - Developing roles and responsibility matrix, skill matrix, and training plan - Adhering to QMS & EHS requirements - Timely closure of action points raised during audits and safety observation program - Identifying resources for planned activities and efficient maintenance department operation - Defining KPIs, departmental objectives, and setting goals for individuals - Collaborating with cross-functional departments for effective planning and resource alignment - Planning and executing Sunday maintenance work - Identifying improvement projects to enhance machine condition - Planning monthly maintenance expenses budget and controlling it - Overseeing utilities and plant maintenance activities for effective plant operation - Actively supporting EHS initiatives and improvement programs - Conducting regular facility inspections and resolving problems - Planning and managing repair and installation activities, safety-related actions - Monitoring equipment availability and usage for maximum utilization - Enforcing legal and statutory compliances related to machines and utilities - Facilitating team member development through training and work allocation - Ensuring discipline on the shop floor and adherence to safety norms during maintenance activities You should hold a BE Mechanical/Electrical degree with 15 to 18 years of experience in the Maintenance Department of the Automotive industry, preferably in a large Machine Shop. Your skills should include knowledge of TPM, 6s, and mechanical and electrical troubleshooting of CNC machines. Euroflex Transmissions (India) Pvt.
