Manager- Direct Taxation & FDD

You will be responsible for leading and managing financial due diligence activities across the West and East zones to assess potential investments, identify financial risks, and support strategic decision-making for high-value real estate transactions. Your key responsibilities will include: - Leading and executing end-to-end financial due diligence for potential acquisitions, joint ventures, and development deals. - Reviewing and analyzing financial statements, management reports, forecasts, and business plans to assess the financial health and risks of target companies. - Collaborating with external consultants, auditors, and internal stakeholders to ensure comprehensive deal evaluation. - Presenting due diligence outcomes to senior management with clarity and commercial context. - Overseeing the timely preparation and filing of Direct Tax returns and Tax Audit Reports. - Managing queries, notices, and investigations from Direct Tax Authorities. - Staying updated on regulatory changes and assessing their impact on the business. - Supporting strategic financial planning and investment decision-making by providing deep insights into business risks and financial trends. - Engaging with business heads, legal, liaison, and project teams to ensure due diligence inputs align with broader project feasibility assessments. - Assisting in the development of financial strategies to enhance deal value and mitigate risks. Qualifications: - CA Qualified Experience: - 5+ years of relevant post-qualification experience in direct taxation roles, preferably in the real estate/manufacturing/big consulting sector.
