We are looking for a skilled and experienced Makeup Trainer to join our team, who will impart both theoretical knowledge and hands-on training to the next generation of beauty professionals. Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Makeup Trainer with a deep understanding of both theoretical and practical makeup artistry, as well as technical knowledge of makeup tools and products. The successful candidate will be responsible for training FSalon Makeup Artists and FSchool of Salon trainers, ensuring they are proficient in both the theory and practice of makeup application. This role will involve in-office training at the head office and travel to various locations to conduct on-site sessions. Key Responsibilities: Comprehensive Training: Provide in-depth training to FSalon Makeup Artists in both theoretical aspects (e.g., makeup theory, skin science, color theory) and practical makeup techniques (e.g., foundation application, contouring, eye makeup, special effects, etc.). Trainer Mentorship: Guide and mentor FSchool of Salon trainers, ensuring they are equipped with the knowledge and skills to teach both theory and practical makeup techniques effectively. On-Site Training: Travel to different locations to conduct hands-on makeup training for teams and students, ensuring consistent quality and up-to-date techniques are implemented across locations. Develop and Update Training Materials: Create and update comprehensive training programs, manuals, and instructional content that balance both theoretical knowledge (such as anatomy of the face, makeup products, sanitation standards) and practical techniques (such as makeup application, color matching, blending). Stay Current: Continuously update your knowledge of the latest makeup trends, techniques, and products, ensuring all training content is current and aligned with industry standards. Assess and Evaluate: Assess trainees theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and technical abilities, providing constructive feedback and guidance for their continuous improvement. Client Interaction: Occasionally demonstrate makeup techniques to clients and staff, ensuring the highest quality of service and showcasing advanced artistry skills. Required Experience and Skills: Experience: 5-10 years of professional experience in makeup artistry. Training Experience: Previous experience in training, teaching, or mentoring students or professionals in makeup artistry, with the ability to instruct on both theoretical concepts and practical techniques. Comprehensive Knowledge: Expertise in both the theory and practice of makeup, including makeup application techniques, color theory, skin anatomy, and the use of tools and products. Technical Expertise: Strong technical understanding of makeup products, tools, techniques, and the latest industry innovations. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain both complex theoretical concepts and practical techniques in an easy-to-understand manner. Travel: Willingness to travel to various locations to conduct on-site training as needed. Passion for Teaching: A passion for educating and inspiring future makeup artists. Professional Certification: Relevant certifications or qualifications in makeup artistry or beauty education are preferred.
