As a Spa Massage Therapist at The Ritz-Carlton Bangalore, your main responsibility will be to provide exceptional massage services and body treatments to guests using a variety of props and products. You will need to assess guest needs, ensuring to inquire about any contraindications before starting the service. Keeping up to date with the latest techniques and modalities in the field is crucial. Your duties will also include escorting guests to treatment rooms, preparing workstations, and maintaining a clean and sanitized environment throughout your shift. It is important to check in frequently with guests to ensure their comfort and safety, promoting a relaxing and secure experience. Additionally, you will be responsible for promoting and selling spa/salon services, as well as maintaining and sterilizing tools. In case of accidents, injuries, or unsafe work conditions, you will report them to the manager and complete the necessary safety training. Adhering to company policies and procedures, maintaining a professional appearance, and protecting company assets are essential parts of the role. You will also be expected to welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards and develop positive relationships with both guests and colleagues. The preferred qualifications for this position include a Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree and at least 1 year of related work experience. A State or Regional Massage License is a mandatory requirement.
