Job Job Title Mainframe Senior Developer Responsibilities Write, test, and maintain programs in COBOL to meet business requirements.Develop and modify JCL (Job Control Language) for batch processing.Work on CICS transactions for online application components.Perform data manipulation using SQL in DB2 environments.Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards.Debug and resolve issues in mainframe applications.Collaborate with analysts to understand business needs and implement solutions Technical and Professional Requirements: Primary skills:Technology->Mainframe Technologies->COBOL Preferred Skills: Technology->Mainframe Technologies->COBOL->COBOL II Additional Responsibilities: Strong programming skills in COBOL.Proficiency in JCL for batch job processing.Experience with CICS for online transaction processing.Knowledge of DB2 or other mainframe databases.Basic understanding of mainframe tools like TSO/ISPF, File-Aid, or similar.Familiarity with version control practices for mainframe environments.Ability to analyze and optimize mainframe application performance.
