Mainframe Development

Role Overview: You will be responsible for Mainframe Application Development at Ashra Technologies in Bangalore. Your primary skills should include Mainframe, Assembler, SAS, JCL, Cobol, and DB2. Secondary skills required are VSAM, Easytrieve, and CICS. You must have at least 4-6 years of experience in this field. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct research, analysis, design, planning, coding, and testing activities - Investigate and resolve routine or common incidents and issues - Plan and implement automation/streamlining activities to reduce manual efforts and costs - Participate in project calls with stakeholders to represent applications and assess impacts and action items - Support, coordinate, and execute scheduled maintenance activities, including validation during upgrades and DR tests - Be available for project and maintenance activities outside normal working hours when necessary Qualification Required: - 4+ years of experience in Mainframe Application Development - Proficiency in Mainframe, Assembler, SAS, JCL, Cobol, and DB2 - Familiarity with VSAM, Easytrieve, and CICS - Willingness to participate in project and maintenance activities outside normal working hours Please share your resume with Akshitha at akshitha@ashratech.com or contact 8688322632 if you are interested in this full-time position at Ashra Technologies.
