The role involves handling patient inquiries, coordinating with departments, managing emergency calls, and ensuring smooth communication between patients, attendants, and hospital staff during the night hours. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, strong presence of mind, and a compassionate approach to dealing with patients and their families. Key Responsibilities: Call Handling & Communication Attend all incoming and outgoing calls promptly and professionally. Provide accurate information on hospital services, doctor availability, OPD/IPD timings, treatment packages, and room bookings. Handle emergency calls efficiently and escalate to the concerned medical team without delay. Ensure proper call logging and documentation for every query. Patient Support & Coordination Assist patients and their relatives with admission-related inquiries and appointment scheduling. Support in rescheduling or confirming doctor consultations and treatments. Act as a communication bridge between patients, attendants, and various hospital departments. Guide patients/visitors regarding hospital protocols, facilities, and processes. Administration & Reporting Maintain accurate records of calls, queries, and follow-ups in hospital systems/software. Prepare and submit end-of-shift reports for continuity across shifts. Ensure confidentiality and adherence to hospital policies at all times. Qualifications & Skills Required: Education: Graduate in any discipline (minimum 12th pass with relevant experience may be considered). Experience: Prior experience in hospital call center, telecalling, front office, or customer service preferred. Freshers with excellent communication skills may also apply. Skills & Competencies: Strong verbal communication in English and local language (knowledge of additional languages will be an advantage). Good listening skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Proficiency in MS Office and hospital CRM/ERP systems (training will be provided). Empathy, patience, and a professional approach while dealing with patients/relatives. Ability to handle multitasking and prioritize urgent calls.
