Role & responsibilities: The Manager/ Deputy Manager (HR) will be responsible for managing and overseeing key HR functions, ensuring smooth execution of HR operations, SAP Payroll management and Compliance with Statutory requirements and effective employee engagement. The role involves a mix of operational, compliance and strategic HR activities to support organizational goals. SAP HRMS & Payroll Management End-to-end payroll processing, employee records, salary structures, F&F settlements through SAP HRMS . Ensure accuracy, compliance and timely disbursement. Time Office Functions Manage Attendance, Leave, Extra Working and shift scheduling through systems. Ensure proper controls and reporting. Statutory Compliances Ensure compliance with PF, ESIC, PT, Gratuity, Bonus, LWF, and other labour laws. Handle audits, inspections, and liaison with statutory authorities. Employee Engagement & Welfare Plan and implement engagement initiatives, surveys, events, and welfare measures. Manpower Planning & Execution Assist in manpower planning based on business requirements. Execute recruitment and deployment strategies in coordination with department heads. Support workforce optimization, budgeting, and timely availability of manpower. Statutory Compliances Ensure adherence to PF, ESIC, PT, Gratuity, Bonus, LWF, and other statutory requirements. Handle audits, inspections, and liaison with government authorities. Onboarding & Induction Manage new joiner formalities, background verification, and smooth induction programs. Provide a seamless onboarding experience. Employee Engagement & Welfare Design and implement engagement initiatives, events, and surveys to build a positive workplace culture. Address employee queries, grievances, and ensure a positive work environment. Employee Life Cycle Management Support processes relating to confirmation, transfers, promotion, transfers, PMS, and annual increments. Ensure timely execution of HR actions across the employee lifecycle. Assist in Goal Setting, evaluation and feedback mechanisms. HR Operations & MIS Maintain updated employee records in SAP HRMS and maintain employee personal file and records. Prepare HR dashboards and MIS reports for management decision-making. Qualification: MBA (HR), PGDBM (HR), MSW, MILS or equivalent PG from AICTE recognized Institutes/Colleges Preferred candidate profile: Desired Soft Skills: Attention to Detail: Accuracy in payroll processing, statutory filings and HR data. Learning Agility : Willingness to learn and adapt to HR systems (SAP HRMS) and processes. Communication Skills Clear and Professional interaction with employees and stakeholders. Interpersonal Skills Approachable, Supportive and able to maintain good employee relations. Time Management Ability to handle multiple tasks like payroll deadlines, compliance and joining formalities. Problem-Solving Proactive in resolving day-to-day HR queries. Confidentiality Handling employees data and payroll with integrity. Team Player Supporting senior HR team members in smooth execution of HR activities. 49 years of progressive HR experience with expertise in SAP HRMS (payroll, time office, employee records). Strong exposure to manpower planning, statutory compliance, and employee life cycle management. Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to collaborate with leadership and drive HR initiatives effectively. For Deputy Manager position minimum experience is 4 years with maximum age limit of 32 years. Only full-time courses shall be allowed. The candidates must have scored minimum 60% of marks in the qualification. No Part-time /Correspondence Course Qualification will be entertained.
