Key Job Roles & Responsibilities(JD) Accounts & Financial Operations Manage day-to-day accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, bank reconciliations, and closing activities Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing Maintain accurate books of accounts as per accounting standards Financial Reporting & MIS Prepare and present monthly MIS, financial statements, P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow statements Analyze variances, cost trends, and profitability reports Support management with financial insights and decision support Taxation & Compliance Ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI Timely filing of GST returns, TDS returns, and coordination for income tax filings Handle assessments, audits, and notices from tax authorities Budgeting & Cost Control Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections Monitor expenses and implement cost control measures Track actual vs budget performance and highlight deviations Audit & Internal Control Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors Ensure strong internal control systems and process compliance Implement SOPs for finance and accounts functions Team & Stakeholder Management Lead and mentor the accounts team Coordinate with cross-functional teams, banks, consultants, and vendors Liaison with management for strategic financial planning Key Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliances Hands-on experience with ERP / accounting software (Tally, SAP, Oracle, etc.) Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong control mindset with attention to detail Good communication and stakeholder management skills
