As a Senior Dealer in FX/Fixed Income at our organization, you will report to the Head of Corporate Treasury & Front Office. You will specialize in either Fixed Income or FX, where specific skills and expertise are required for each segment. For Fixed Income, you should have experience in bond trading and using derivatives for hedging interest rate risks. A solid understanding of macro fundamentals influencing liquidity, interest rates, and credit spreads is essential. Additionally, familiarity with credit research or credit risk analysis is advantageous. For FX, you will need hedging and trading skills across currencies, proficiency in charting/technical analysis, and a deep understanding of macro fundamentals affecting currency markets. You should be able to form independent market views and articulate them effectively, while also being aware of the compliance environment in FX markets. Common attributes for both segments include the ability to conduct macro research and prepare research notes, manage banking relationships, source funding, and devise hedging strategies to optimize costs. You should have a strong reputation in the markets and the capability to leverage connections with various market players. Awareness of accounting conventions relevant to corporate treasury is a plus. In terms of general managerial skills, effective written and verbal communication, good presentation abilities, and being a team player are essential. You should be tech-savvy and keen on utilizing technology in the Treasury environment, with familiarity in market systems like Bloomberg and Reuters. Qualifications for this role include an educational background in CA/MBA Finance (Full time), ICWA/CIMA, ACS, or CFA. You should have up to 10 years of experience in financial markets, particularly in FX, Fixed Income, Derivatives, and Investment Banking (DCM). Previous work experience in Corporate Treasury, Bank Treasury, Mutual Fund, Primary Dealership, or Insurance Treasury is preferred.
