Machine Learning Data Scientist

As a Machine Learning Data Science professional at HSBC, you will be at the forefront of leading data science activities within the project. You will collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and developers to drive the AI/ML initiatives in the Trade and Transaction Reporting Controls area. Your key responsibilities will include: - Reviewing the proof of concept, current state, and opportunities to utilize AI/ML - Proposing suitable AI/ML models and techniques based on data domains and business priorities - Transforming and analyzing data using various AI/ML techniques and programming languages - Building scalable machine learning pipelines and optimizing data set performance - Integrating data feeds, mapping, transforming, and testing machine learning pipelines - Collaborating with Business Partners to understand problems and propose data-driven solutions - Operating within HSBC's AI/ML governance and procedures To excel in this role, you should have: - Bachelor's or equivalent degree in AI/Machine Learning - Track record of delivering AI/ML solutions in Markets/Investment Banks - Expertise in anomaly detection techniques, specifically in trade data domain - Awareness of a wide range of ML techniques; familiarity with Google Vertex is advantageous - Understanding of Primary Trading systems, trading products, and trade lifecycle flows - Ability to communicate complex data science/AI/ML concepts to business users - Drive, resilience, and hands-on ability to perform data analysis for decision-making - Proactive nature, excellent communication skills, and structured planning ability At HSBC, we are committed to fostering a workplace where all employees are valued, respected, and provided with continuous professional development opportunities.
