Description
You are an experienced macOS Developer who will be joining the AuthX product team at Upnet. Your primary responsibility will be developing high-performance and secure macOS applications that seamlessly integrate into enterprise environments, providing smooth authentication experiences for end-users. Your key responsibilities will include designing, building, and maintaining macOS applications for the AuthX platform using Swift or Objective-C. You will integrate authentication workflows such as biometrics, secure tokens, and device trust into macOS environments. Implementing robust security protocols, encryption, and Keychain integrations to protect sensitive data will also be part of your role. Collaborating closely with Product, UX, and Backend teams to define and implement feature requirements is essential. You will ensure performance optimization, memory efficiency, and battery-conscious design for macOS apps. Additionally, conducting thorough code reviews, testing, and debugging to deliver high-quality software will be crucial. It is important to stay updated with Apple's developer ecosystem, including SwiftUI, AppKit, notarization, and sandboxing, along with industry best practices. In terms of requirements, you should have at least 3 years of professional macOS application development experience using Swift, SwiftUI, or Objective-C. A deep understanding of macOS frameworks such as AppKit, Core Data, Keychain, and Security APIs is necessary. Experience with authentication/identity standards like OAuth, SAML, FIDO2, and biometrics is highly preferred. Knowledge of cryptography, certificates, and secure storage mechanisms is also essential. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Apple Developer provisioning, app notarization, and sandboxing is required. Strong debugging, profiling, and performance optimization skills are a must, along with robust problem-solving abilities and a willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment. It would be nice to have exposure to cross-platform development (macOS + iOS), experience with MDM (Mobile Device Management) or enterprise device security, and a background in authentication, SSO, or passwordless login product development.,
