As a Road Mechanic at Lucas Tree Experts for the New Hampshire and Vermont fleets, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repairs on a variety of equipment related to tree trimming. Your main duties will include: - Repairing on and off-road equipment such as medium duty Freightliner M2 and International MV trucks, aerial lifts, Bandit wood chippers, hydraulics, and off-road wheeled and tracked equipment - Having a strong understanding of hydraulic systems, engine diagnostics, and general vehicle troubleshooting and repair - Performing maintenance and repairs on International and Freightliner bucket trucks, wood chippers, hydraulics, aerial lifts, wheeled and tracked off-road equipment, and more Qualifications required for this position include: - Must be 18 years of age with a High School Diploma/GED/or equivalent - Must have a current and valid driver's license with reliable transportation - Must be physically able to perform the requirements of the position, such as walking on uneven grounds and carrying 75 lbs - Must have the ability to maintain and repair medium duty trucks with air brakes and tree trimming equipment - Must be able to weld, fabricate, dismantle, and reassemble equipment using hoists and hand tools Lucas Tree Experts offers various benefits including free on-the-job training, safety-first culture, advancement opportunities, paid time off, competitive benefits package, 401(k) with company match, and the opportunity to work outdoors.
