Low-Code Java Developer

As an experienced Low-Code Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable solutions that blend low-code agility with enterprise-grade robustness. Your key responsibilities will include: - Designing, developing, and enhancing applications using Java and related frameworks such as Spring and Spring Boot. - Configuring and extending low-code/no-code platforms like Intrexx, m-Power, GeneXus, RESTHeart, or similar to meet complex business requirements. - Developing and optimizing SQL queries, stored procedures, and database designs. - Integrating applications with APIs, services, and third-party systems. - Collaborating with business stakeholders to translate insurance requirements into technical solutions. - Ensuring solutions meet performance, scalability, and security standards. - Providing mentorship and guidance to junior developers and team members. - Contributing to continuous improvement by adopting best practices and exploring new low-code tools. To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong expertise in Java (Java SE/EE, Spring/Spring Boot). - Experience with low-code/no-code platforms like Intrexx, m-Power, GeneXus, RESTHeart, or similar. - Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc.). - Strong understanding of software architecture, integration patterns, and APIs. - Familiarity with the insurance domain, especially commercial insurance. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate effectively with technical and business teams. Preferred or nice-to-have qualifications include: - Experience with the Sapiens Insurance Platform (policy administration, claims, billing). - Cloud deployment experience (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Prior experience in insurance technology modernization projects. - Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and testing frameworks.,
